Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, is also the president of the National Olympic Committee. He was very saddened after the Belarusian female shot-putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk tested positive for a banned product. The president was very frustrated. The Belarusian president turned out to be a serious fan of sports. He was ashamed that representatives of his country spoiled Belarusian’s sports reputation by positives for prohibited medications. As a result, he said that some changes would take place.
The Belarusian president affirmed that it was needed to criminalize intake of forbidden medications in sports. Thus, sports will be probably clean. This statement was pronounced by the Belarusian president after Nadzeya Ostapchuk was caught administering methenolone. This product is better known as Primobolan.
The Belarusian president desires to see that his country succeeds in sports on the international scene. If Alexander Lukashenko desires to clean his country’s sports, he will be able to do it. Some facts display that this person has reached numerous goals related to his country.
In fact, Alexander Lukashenko is a hard president. He was even accused of human rights abuses. He is capable to change the situation in sports by force too.
Lukashenko doesn’t plan to discuss about intake of prohibited drugs in sports. There are other things which should be discussed, according to the Belarusian president.
Anatoliy Tozik, the Vice-President for Alexander Lukashenko, supposed that they could form a sports scientific center that would be sponsored by the state. The center would conduct scientific studies linked with mental and pharmacological support for top sportspersons. The president agreed to form this center.
It is unknown whether the president will clean sports at any cost. Will he use his force for this need?
