Anti-doping agencies do no not make fair decisions in certain cases. Since some persons violate anti-doping laws, the whole teams are suspended. So, athletes who don’t lie are suspended together with cheaters. Don’t you find it unfair? Why should good sportspersons be kept from making their hopes and dreams real, while other persons cheat?
The Waterloo football program was shut down for a year. It was a result of an investigation. Everything began because of a bust of a player who was caught having thousands of vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. This detection caused many investigations led in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
An investigation resulted in eight positives of the Waterloo football players. It led to decision to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unluckily, innocent players of the Waterloo College were suspended together with liars who used forbidden performance-enhancing medications. The players Matt Vonk and Steve Ples played at Laurier before the steroid scandal and the suspension. These two players didn’t use steroids. That’s why Matt Vonk and Stele Ples hadn’t receive the suspension.
These two players decided to transfer to another college to realize their dreams linked with football. But these two football players received refusal. So, these innocent football players will be kept from playing football the whole year.
