Intake of steroids by athletes without being caught

Tyler Hamilton and Daniel Coyle have published a book related to administration of EPO and anabolic steroids. Tips presented in the book can serve as a proof that the cyclist Lance Armstrong administered forbidden medicines. The book has been entitled following: “The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the Tour de France: Doping, Cover-ups, and Winning at all Costs”. The book contains guidelines linked with intake of EPO and steroids in cycling and methods to avoid detection. It shows that drug testing is not efficient in this sport.
Tyler Hamilton confirms that sportspeople can take steroids without being caught. He notes that the WADA doesn’t have any chance to win. Hamilton indicates weakness of the WADA in testing sportspersons for forbidden drugs.
According to Hamilton, it is not difficult to avoid detection while administering EPO. It is necessary to apply the procedure “microdosing”. What does it really mean? Athletes should not inject 2,000 Units of EPO under the skin each 3rd or 4th day. They must inject 400-500 Units of EPO every 3-4 nights into veins. This method is named “microdosing”. Utilizing this way of intake, sportpersons can avoid detection without any great effort.
Since microdosing is a proper method to avoid detection while applying EPO, this method must be proper in case of steroid use too. So, Tyler Hamilton suggests that cyclists and other sportspersons can avoid detection while using anabolic steroids. He provides recommendations linked with this issue in details in the book.  The author describes how it is possible to hit drug testing of anti-doping system.
In fact, it is unlikely that recommendations provided in Tyler’s book will alter essence of cycling. While introduction of the biological passport into anti-doping system can’t stop doping, elaboration of microdosing into application of EPO doesn’t represent the new beginning of doping in cycling. Recommendations of Hamilton may alter only the essence of doping in this sport. Application of doping products is a part of cycling. Let notice the truth. Like Santa Claus doesn’t exist at the high level.
