Andrew Tilin’s book “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs”

Andrew Tilin, an amateur cyclist and a writer,  was banned for 2 years. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this individual after he had admitted administrating steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the Andrew Tilin in own book which will be soon probably released. The title is following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
The book describes individual experiences of some individuals who applied drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
So, Tilin administrated the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear.  Actually, it is not yet clear whether this rider has noted about individual experience linked with other preparations that enhance performance.
Andrew Tilin tries to comprehend and describe in his book why individuals dope. He notes the motivations of various persons. Do these preparations help actually? These medicines are quite controversial; the explanations linked with these drugs are controversial as well. Joe Papp wrote about Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp mentioned that Andrew Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was forbidden but he had administrated it. Then he wrote that these medications caused negative consequences in users.  According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to be banned for four years.
The ban of Andrew Tilin began in March 2011.
