American youth are inclined to follow those who dope

American youth are fans of their sports stars. They have already a lot of such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Fans observe and repeat their each move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of nowadays? It can be risky. Nowadays sports heroes earn millions of dollars due to administration of steroids. However the NFL and the MLB fight against administration of banned preparations, the war seems to be unsuccessful. Administration of steroids like cancer destroys sports. Although American youth are taught about severe side results of these medications, the results are not satisfactory.
It is said that youth are suppressed to take steroids. They put efforts to meet the required criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects promote using steroids.
Undoubtedly, all parents want their children to be successful. If children go info sports, their parents want them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is difficult to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure influences greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to cheat in order to be successful. College admission levels have dropped due to budget cuts. The Recovery Place proclaims that it can lead to the situation, when high school students will look for alternative ways to be able to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative way.
American youth observe that a lot of professional athletes have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and intensive trainings; others used steroids and other related drugs. If American youth act like those who dope, which will be the consequences?
Prolonged usage of steroids may lead to addiction to these products. Furthermore, users of steroids may suffer from such undesirable effects, as liver tumors, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney dysfunctions and bad cholesterol. These adverse consequences are claimed to be serious; they may be life-threatening.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t want to see their children with health problems. They desire their children to achieve goals due to devotion to sports and hard workouts. But it is difficult to do it because many others cheat, using steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These products shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

Essential efforts are put to leave the steroid era for baseball in past

There is a theme which induces hot debates. Especially baseball fans are excited, when they hear about steroids and their influence on this sport. Thus, in case you want to cause hot discussions, you only need to notice that certain baseball stars win due to usage of steroids.
Different persons have various opinions, when it comes to the discussions about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why certain individuals who are involved in baseball apply steroids. Do they play baseball only for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those that don’t dope and win because of natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards who are not lured to take prohibited drugs for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids shouldn’t be elected for the Hall of Fame. This aspect represents trying to escape from shame connected with the steroid era. You can observe efforts to leave all negative aspects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to demonize users of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those that suppose that condemnation of steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everybody knows that many players of baseball have taken anabolic steroids and other related preparations. Furthermore, no one doubts that today there are such players of baseball that continue to use forbidden preparations. Numerous people discuss whether a player with average skills may become great due to intake of forbidden drugs. Several persons confirm that without appropriate talents steroids do not profit. Talents should present. Others don’t agree with this affirmation. They claim that steroids can increase performance whatever talent a person has.
But the problem is that we demonize players that dope alone. But not only athletes must be demonized for the steroid era. Everyone knows what happens really during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Usage of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be convinced that doping doesn’t affect baseball longer.

Doping is promoted by poverty in some situations

The Major League Baseball tries to do everything to prevent intake of steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unfortunately, many persons are inclined to administrate steroids and other related medicines to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of people use steroids and other medicines which promote performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has administrated steroids or other related products. Undoubtedly, this person confirms that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody fears to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB intends to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are educated about risks for their health related to steroids. They are taught about negative symptoms which can be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this case. The average salary is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any athlete from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They desire to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to obtain it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
Actually, steroid use is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson may be sure whether he competes against a person that has natural skills and talents or against a person that takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is necessary to nip usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be taught about dangers connected with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but everywhere.

Many baseball players care more about money than about their reputation

The Major League Baseball survived some baffling periods of time. It survived 2 situations that are claimed to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Today the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be able to survive this period too. There was a case that had an essential influence on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB who administrated medications which enhance performance. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. Numerous baseball players have applied prohibited drugs to increase performance. Many players of baseball have gotten awards and millions of dollars due to intake of forbidden preparations.
The sums of money which may be gotten justify the dangers related to intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that take forbidden products don’t worry so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such individuals are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans who try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about the steroid era in baseball.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player who takes steroids destroys his honor. It is made only for money. Such individual trades own honor only for getting money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is without steroid use. Numerous baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train hardly and dedicate themselves totally to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their image. Such persons love baseball truthfully. They don’t worry just about money. Such baseball players are motivated by pure love to baseball.
Actually, the MLB bans steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in every sport who take unfair advantage due to steroid use.
Our hope is light: we think that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspersons who compete not because of doping but due to natural talents, skills and intensive trainings.

We hope that steroids will be pushed out of sports

The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by numerous people. Every day many articles report about these products. You read news that report about persons that use steroids. You come across stories about those who are caught distributing steroids and sentenced to probation or prison. However steroids are recommended for numerous people to treat them from some illnesses, administration of these products for performance-enhancing effects is more widely spread. It seems that it destroy the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may get money due to distribution or usage of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They administrate and sell these drugs, in spite of the fact that they are claimed to be illicit in some countries. Many people violate steroid laws because they may get money, distributing and/or using steroids.
No one doubts that you have read many articles about wrestlers that have administrated forbidden medications for many years. Some of users died of sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to admit that fatal situations happen because steroids. Many people deny connections between serious diseases and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball put efforts to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without steroids and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to medicines that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is not possible to be sure that you realize how wide spread administration of banned drugs is in professional and non-professional sports. Usage of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If sportspersons use medications that increase performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any steroid user that goes info sports should define whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she should have another job. Each person must do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you should do another job.
There is a hope that usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be discontinued in sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

The judge refused a request to sentence just to probation a man that cared about 5 children and his wheelchair-bound wife

The laws that ban usage of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies hoped that prohibition of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from intake of illegal preparations. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspeople slightly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute sportspersons who use illegal medications. On the contrary, non-competitive athletes and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to results of breaking these laws.
This is not only one’s opinion. Real facts display it. Let recognize: who is sentenced to imprisonment because of distributing steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a doctor. In fact, this person was not the target of a steroid investigation. He just turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician talked to federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. So, the affirmation of this lady caused the situation, when the physician was investigated.
In fact, Ashley Rivers was a distributor of steroids for short time. This man sold these medicines to his friends. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, noted that his client had recognized his guilty completely and taken the total responsibility for his illegal operations.  The attorney confirmed that Rivers was a moral man. Although he broke the steroid laws, he realized the risks and admitted to his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence his client just to probation.  Ashley Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 adopted children  and 3 children of his disabled brother. In addition to these conditions, this man gave about 40, 000 dollars for people that lost their homes due to tornadoes. It would be better, if this person were sentenced to probation. This man would continue his work for his family and other persons.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, refused the request of the defense attorney for River. He stated that Rivers committed a serious crime and he must serve time in jail. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson  at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in prison.
You may see that steroid laws have just a slight influence on professional sportspeople.

Jose Canseco plays baseball professionally again

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. This player was banned for administration of steroids. This player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noted that many players of the MLB administrated steroids.
Now he has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. This person has proclaimed about his dreams to play in the MLB again. This person has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. He was probably blackballed by baseball because of his descriptions connected with steroids and presented in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has called himself the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these preparations in baseball. Jose Canseco openly acknowledged in his book that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. This writer mentioned also names of other baseball players that administrated steroids. Such individuals, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were named by Jose Canseco.
However anabolic steroids may be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to some reports, Jose Canseco will be tested for forbidden drugs by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
The former baseball player claims that he has stopped taking steroids some years ago. According to several sources, since discontinuing using steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to cure certain problems linked with reduced testosterone level.
Jose Canseco noted that he had suffered from several unwanted reactions due to usage of steroids. Thus, his physician had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from low sex drive and depression.
While he tried to restore his natural production of testosterone, he got several problems with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing a vial of HCG at the international border. Jose Canseco’s house was raided by law enforcement officers but no any steroids were found.
However Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing professional baseball.

Wrong perceptions about a TUE in MMA

Certain mixed martial artists have publicly admitted that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been prescribed by doctors. Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), confirms that this aspect has created an impression among many people that steroid exemptions are given to allow MMA fighters to take the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Kizer noted that some individuals thought that any fighter could obtain exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he described the situation in Nevada. According to the executive director of the NSAC,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult men that have hypogonadism (low testosterone levels). If sportspeople correspond to the medical criteria, they can be allowed to use steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those that try to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for usage of steroids. An athlete must show the document which displays that blood levels of testosterone are reduced.  But if a sportsperson has low level of testosterone, it is not enough to obtain a TUE. Treating physicians should name reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy should be described by health care providers as well. Each detail must display that a fighter needs to  use testosterone for therapeutic needs and usage of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Some top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have administrated steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC that use steroids for medical purposes.
Keith Kizer claims that ban of steroids makes MMA safer. He notes that if a fighter takes steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is applied knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  So, this is not only cheating. This factor is related to dangers for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this athlete will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such person administrates steroids.
It goes without saying that steroid use has possible risks to increase the harm that may be caused in MMA.

A boy that has been injected with steroids by his father refuses to discuss with him

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
Corey Gahan became an inline skating champion at the national level. Corey Gahan won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
The father of Corey pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his young son. This person cooperated with a trainer from Florida in order to supply Corey with following drugs: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. He was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he was sentenced to 6-year imprisonment.
Since he had already served his time in a prison, he was released. James Gahan started to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other banned substances had been changed totally. James Gahan talked to high school athletes about risks related to doping. It was a part of his community service to which this person had  been ordered by the court.
This individual noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. He noticed just about own experiences with these preparations. This person added that if one desired to see negative reactions of anabolic steroids, he might display them because he administrated these drugs. This person noted that he used 45 pills per day and his insides had eroded.
In fact, James didn’t explain what he meant, saying that his insides had eroded due to steroids. He said nothing about his disease that required 45 tablets per one day!
This person said about his son that he had known everything they had done. But he noted that since he was the father, he took the whole responsibility upon himself. But he concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t want to communicate with his father that has supplied him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for giving steroids to him; he has been sorry just because of being caught.

Colin Daynes blamed his physician for intake of forbidden medicines

Colin Daynes, a Greco-Roman wrestler, intended to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unluckily, his dreams will not be real. Intake of banned medications caused this unpleasant case. Colin Daynes was caught using steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports proclaimed that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such forbidden products, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone belong to anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This medicine is usually used in stacks with several others to minimize water retention. Furosemide or Lasix is a diuretic. Wrestlers administrate this medication as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight classes.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other prohibited products intentionally. He said that he had used these drugs to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But Colin Daynes added that he hadn’t known that these medicines were prohibited by the WADA. This wrestler blamed his health care provider for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic physician that recommended him using these preparations. The wrestler noted that if he had known that the medicines were banned, he would not have competed.
Colin Daynes represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he was going to take part in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify internationally. Recently this person won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and had to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of banned medicines this wrestler has received 2-year ban. It means that colin Daynes is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends as well.
Colin Daynes claimed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they were able to do it after the successful career of 25 years and everything he had done.

Prosecutors tried to determine whether Armstrong promoted doping

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This athlete remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Lance Armstrong and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The duration of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has doped. The accusations against this person threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this person administrated steroids were in vain.
Lance Armstrong noticed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the case. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong concluded that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney announced during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation linked with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t note about any reason of this decision. But he just said that come previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the case linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had cheated about usage of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was formed by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to determine whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
Actually, prosecutors put efforts to learn whether Lance Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong wasn’t forced to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with administration of banned drugs. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the investigation. They added that such situations happened due to possessing money and corruption.

A wrong headline: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”

The professor of Wisconsin’s University Norm Fost destroys several common misconceptions related to anabolic steroids. Although certain experts proclaim about severe and even life-threatening undesirable results of anabolic steroids, Dr. Fost denies these statements, claiming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of this doctor are not so frequently quoted by media as statements about dangerous side consequences of steroids.  Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids aren’t so harmful, as it is believed, is noticed once for every 500-time statement that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of Norm Fost wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never stated that steroids were not harmful at all. It is obvious that these drugs can cause different undesirable effects. Norm doesn’t deny risks of appearing  side consequences. Actually, this specialist says some other things. This expert notes that potential risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. This doctor denies the statement that steroids lead to the rare form of brain cancer. According to several sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost notes that there is no any link between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma which finally caused his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence that indicated about the connection between his administration of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Lyle Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this aspect strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had affected his immune system and promoted destructing his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was connected with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would proclaim that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU claimed that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma which was not linked with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the situation. He said that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer that Alzado had, nobody of them claimed about links between his brain lymphoma and usage of steroids.

Anna Watson preferred being an university cheerleader to being a model

The University of Georgia cheerleader Anna Watson said that she was pressured to use steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to use Anavar in order to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson was tempted but finally she rejected this recommendation. This lady claimed that her body was “a temple” and she wouldn’t destroy it.
This person mentioned that she had been tempted by usage of steroids many times. The agent made everything to present steroids as something good.
It was said that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she apply steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she talked to Elite Model Management representatives in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such super-models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson preferred to be a cheerleader at the University to being implicated in the glamorous world. Moreover, she refused to take steroids because this action wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. this lady claimed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a beautiful creation. Anna Watson made a conclusion that she would not violate her moral and religious principles only to take photos. This lady  decided not to affect her health.
Some questions appear, reading these statements. Somebody can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of bad attitude to steroids?
It is said that if Anna Watson gets 50 pounds of muscles, she will be allowed to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspersons know that such sums of money are not received easily even in sports. But may such large sum of money be got from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Female bodybuilders compete greatly to obtain prize money. Women with muscular bodies are more likely to obtain money from “schmoes” (males who have sexual fetish for muscular females) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

Legal status of the synthetic steroids which are contained in the supplement that has been taken by King Mo Lawal is controversial

King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had taken a dietary supplement which was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this person and his manager, administration of this product led to positive for Masteron.
Lawal noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had bought “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the case, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of forbidden medications are enumerated on the label of S-Mass Lean Gainer. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of several debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These products are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. So, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first which sold Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was accused in elaborating of a new unapproved product. Later the company pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, this pharmaceutical company had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But the company decided to discontinue producing this product in 2006.
However legal status of these two substances is controversial, numerous companies have produced and sold them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. It goes without saying that persons that are involved in this industry know about the status of these supplements but they continue to sell them.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, proclaims that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He believes that such companies misguide people intentionally.

Ryan Braun hopes to prove false positives

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t acknowledge to usage of banned drugs. Ryan Braun confirmed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. He fights against the results that have been announced.
Altough it has been recently discussed whether users of steroids have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not lose their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids don’t forfeit their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell announced that Ryan Braun would be allowed to receive the MVP awards. Earlier other consumers of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these persons acknowledged that they had used steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Braun had enhanced level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t indicate actual quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing which indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Many sportswriters supposed that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for prohibited medications. But this player made another decision. He decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in usage of steroids.  This baseball player noted that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. He confirmed that he had a great respect to baseball. He added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with great respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to take steroids to be able to play. When this baseball player found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised.  He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to admit to usage of banned products.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, confirming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. The baseball player announced that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

Alexandre Dougnier administrated many various prohibited substances

Intake of anabolic steroids and other drugs that increase performance is widespread among amateur and professional athletes. It isn’t surprisingly, when athletes test positive for banned substances. But there are some unusual cases, when an individual tests positive for numerous prohibited medications. Here is an example.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for over 10 prohibited substances, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. He has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had used such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites that were found in his urine sample included  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Certain individuals notice that this amateur cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. Jacques Anquetil was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. Jacques Anquetil was the first cyclist who had won the Tour de France 5 times. This cyclist had received also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He noted that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. Jacques Anquetil mentioned that only a fool individual would endure this agony related to the extreme sport of cycling without doping. This famous cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive personal liberty. Jacques Anquetil concluded that everybody doped.
It is important to know steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Usage of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for intake of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past 2 decades.
Let see which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have used them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught taking testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were capable to increase performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this statement. He mentioned that usage of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person can take testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone must take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier was not cautious and didn’t put efforts to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suppose that cyclists would be tested for banned medications at the race in Aubervilliers.

Rampage Jackson confirms that fighters may use steroids for medical needs

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t show their dislike to each other for several years. During an interview Lawal told about their relationships, noticing that he doesn’t like  Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson noticed that it was quite obvious that King Mo Lawal had administrated steroids. He noted that King Mo Lawal wasn’t a true fighter. He administrated steroids to be able to compete.
Quinton Rampage Jackson noticed that there were fighters that were permitted to take steroids. He referred to those who had to administrate steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This fighter noted that it was a significant difference between purposes. Fighters and other sportspersons are allowed to use steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to Quinton Rampage Jackson.
Jackson notes that there are athletes who experience certain health troubles. They consult their doctors who prescribe steroids. They take these drugs to become healthier and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters who apply steroids to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
Nevertheless, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
Thus, Rampage Jackson is a fighter that claimed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by sportspersons. But there are other fighters who do not support this point of view. Numerous sportspersons have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They think that administration of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They proclaim that all fighters who apply anabolic steroids, noticing that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
King Mo Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this mixed martial artist and his manager confirm that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were some rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal must serve a suspension.

Some persons believe that the war on Twitter between female fighters is more entertaining than some real fights

The president of the UFC Dana White announced about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He said that it was linked with positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White claimed that this fact would promote the ending of the whole division. Santos forfeited her title. That’s why the president of the UFC came to the conclusion linked with the end of the division.
It is believed that the president of the UFC didn’t suppose which would be the response of certain individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a significant war would begin on Twitter between famous female mixed martial artists.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey that is the top of female MMA featherweight and who has received the bronze medal in judo noted about her negative attitude to administration of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her feelings about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. She noted that administration of steroids was caused by uncertainty of fighters in their skills, strength and abilities. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that the decision to use performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the persons were not enough prepared to win in competitions. She added that intake of steroids and other related products manifested psychological weakness of consumers. According to Rowdy Rousey, this weakness promotes lying.
Rowdy Rousey mentioned about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during certain interviews. This lady talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had administrated forbidden products. She noticed that she never had respect toward Chris Cyborg Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was glad to find out that Santos had been caught and banned.
As for Cyborg Santos, she became angry because of Rousey’s affirmations. She told her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the suspension by Santos. She believes that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following words, referring to Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos posted a picture of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t host the real picture. Instead of it, Santos used Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were imposed by her upon Gina Carano.
Rowdy Rousey didn’t hesitate much time; she responded to the comments and the photo at once. She had harsh words for Santos, blaming her for lying and for hosting  the photo, using Photoshop.
Many persons claim that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than some real fights. It seems that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos in 2013.
